As children we learn to develop and construct our identity through our experiences. Everything we encounter changes us and affects us directly or indirectly. And as we continue interacting with society, we begin to weave these complex and seemingly paradoxical constructs into a cohesive sense of who we believe we are. We adopt customs, practices, and rituals to keep up a tradition of an ever-evolving construct of self. However, what would happen if we deconstruct our layers of identity? This video performance is an attempt to explore identity as it relates to the individual in society.
