Didier William is a Haitian American artist whose work explores cultural identity while incorporating elements of history, mythology, and biographical experiences. In his current exhibition Nou Kite Tout Sa Dèyè at the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami, which means “we’ve left that all behind,” William explores his heritage, the American culture he was submerged in, and what he and his family went through in the process of immigration and becoming naturalized U.S. Citizens.
